Jesse Bryan
Superintendent
Jesse was referred to the Company in 1972 as a prospect for a superintendent position. Hiring him based on a pure belief that there would be sufficient work down the road and that Jesse was the one who could handle it proved to be one of the most important decisions in the Company’s history. Once aboard, Jesse quickly proved himself, in particular by his unique way of always looking at the issues from a positive perspective, no matter how bad they might be, and motivating the workforce to do their best by always having their back. He was a “big job superintendent” who was always considered for, and largely ended up handling, the most complex and challenging jobs on hand. Most importantly, Jesse had a heart of gold, and he made sure that everyone knew he was there for them if they needed help at work or at home. Jesse retired from the company in 2002, after 30 years of absolute leadership by example.
