After an early career in the aerospace industry and on the Alaskan Pipeline project, Ed joined the Company in 1984. As a true “rocket scientist,” Ed cherished a good challenge and welcomed exploring the unknown; so moving his family from Oregon to Florida to start a mechanical division for a small company he knew nothing about was right up his alley. It didn't take long for Ed to develop policies and procedures necessary to compete in the mechanical construction arena and then hire and train staff to successfully implement them. After leading the Company’s mechanical division for 21 years, he retired in 2005. However, 5 years later, when the need arose to revamp the Company’s mechanical division. Ed came out of retirement to reestablish a team of new employees who continued what he started. Fitting to his roots and a tribute to his exemplary work ethic, the Company’s mechanical division now plays a major role in building the infrastructure for the next generation of space explorers at the Florida Space Coast.
