Our History:

Founded in Jacksonville Florida in 1969, Milton J. Wood Company has built a respected reputation for integrity, quality and dependability among manufacturing facilities throughout the Southeast.

With a weekly average of over 300 employees and up to 700 during plant outages, we are one of the region's most versatile General and Mechanical contractors. We continue to live up to the guiding principal established by our founder: "Give our customers the very highest value possible for their money" on every job, every day.

  We do everything possible to allow your plant operations to proceed without delay or down time. We schedule our work around your production timeframe allowing your operations to run smoothly throughout the construction process.

  Our relentless dedication to consistently deliver the highest quality services during every phase of construction. We are thorough and we do it right the first time.
• Schedule
  Through the use of our automated project management system, we maintain production schedules for all work activities and communicate this information to all involved.

  Price is critical to every project. However, when working inside a manufacturing facility that operates 24 hours a day and 365 days per year, it does not carry as high a priority as the four items listed above. We strive to follow this decisive priority structure in each decision.
